Casey brings 23+ years of title insurance examining experience including many complex commercial transactions, such as hospitals, development projects and more. He is a past president of the NJ Land Title Association and holds the Certified Title Professional designation.
Jana brings 33+ years of title experience along with her many other skills. Her commercial experience spans warehouse resale and refinances, housing development projects and major retail acquisitions among others. She is the Chair of the New Jersey Land Title Institute and a seasoned title educator.
Casey is the Chief Operations Officer at North Star Title Agency LLC, bringing over 22 years of experience in the title insurance industry and more than 30 years of management expertise. As a Certified Title Professional (CTP), Casey has a proven track record of excellence in both residential and commercial title insurance examining.
Casey’s career is distinguished by his leadership roles, including serving as Past President of the New Jersey Land Title Association (NJLTA) and Past Agency Section Chair of the NJLTA. He is also a member of the Title Insurance Liaison Committee to the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and hosts the Past Presidents Podcast of the NJLTA. Additionally, Peter is a Trustee and Instructor for the New Jersey Land Title Institute.
With extensive experience in building and managing title production departments, Casey is well-versed in IT, cybersecurity, and related issues. His skills and dedication have made significant contributions to the industry.
Outside of his professional life, Casey enjoys spending time with his family and walking his two dogs. He is passionate about cooking, reading, movies, and music. Peter believes that everyone can achieve greatness if they believe in themselves, and he strives to be that supportive person for as many people as possible.

Jana Segarra is an accomplished title insurance professional, team builder, and lifelong learner who has dedicated her career to helping people protect their property rights — and helping teams grow stronger along the way.
With a career that began in high school, Jana has experienced nearly every facet of the title industry. She’s held roles from Senior Title Officer to Executive Vice President, earning a reputation as both a detail-loving “Title Nerd” and a leader who believes deeply in the power of people. Licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, and New York, she has managed complex title projects from contract due diligence through policy issuance with clarity, precision, and care.
Jana’s professional philosophy is simple: when you invest in your people first, great client service and lasting success naturally follow. Beyond her daily work, she’s active in industry leadership as Chairperson and Instructor for the New Jersey Land Title Institute, Trustee of the NJLTA Agency Section, and contributor to The Advocate, NJLTA’s official publication.
When she’s not immersed in title work, Jana loves traveling with her husband Vinny, reading anything she can get her hands on, cycling, and keeping her daily streak alive on the New York Times Wordle and Mini Crossword.
Stuart Bell brings over 17 years of title industry experience to his Senior Examiner role at North Star Title. Abstracting and curative, Stuart has developed strong relationships with all major underwriters over the years in helping solve clients issues and get deals closed.
